Terminal 2 Eatery

For this new San Francisco International Airport outpost of a popular downtown eatery, MAS reinterpreted the restaurant’s signature Granada tile motif to create a more contemporary language that compliments Terminal 2’s modern aesthetic. Created using Grasshopper and Rhino, the new tile continues the original’s symmetrical, 3x3 geometry but introduces scale (small, medium, big) and expanded possibilities. When rotated, the three tile types generate myriad options.
